Some snaps and winners from our latest NOHC golf society outing to Ballmascanlon Golf Club.

Our own Ladies 1s player @lisamurdock20 , jetted off to Houston Texas, after winning a place in the FISE United Space School (USS). She was one of around 50 students aged 16-18 from around the world and the only from Northern Ireland after winning an essay competition and completing a round of interviews.

So we got it done. We had rain, hail, thunder, wind and a bit of sunshine. Tough going but everyone gave it their all to get it done. 7 highest peaks, with an early start followed by a well deserved feed after. It costs £4.2million each year to run the Southern Area Hospice. Anything you can donate will help.

Men’s preseason starts back on Monday 24th July 7-9pm. Everyone welcome, new and old! Spread the word and we will see you there!

A win for our Under 15’s today in their first game of the development league. The girls came away with a 2-0 vs @southantrimhockeyclub today.

As a mark of respect following the passing of Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II, all hockey in Ulster is postponed with immediate effect until further notice. Including junior hockey on Saturday morning.

Newry Olympic Hockey Club is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Her Majesty The Queen, Elizabeth II. Our thoughts go to all members of the Royal Family and all of those touched by this remarkable monarch.

Well, there you have it. All hockey has now been suspended until at least the 14th November. This is everything from juniors up to all senior teams. We, like all of you enjoyed being back in some sort or normal routine with hockey. However we will see you all at the other side of this hopefully short lived lock down.
