Juniors blitz it in Kilkeel!

Our juniors had a fantastic day out in Kilkeel on Saturday 29th May, playing in a hockey blitz hosted by Kilkeel Hockey Club. 

Over thirty boys & girls from our Under 9s (two teams), Under 11s & Under 13s really enjoyed playing in competitive matches for the first time. Although the focus was on fun, the enthusiasm and skills on show proved our teams were more than a match for the opposition.

There was great support from parents who took the players to Kilkeel and stayed to watch all the games.

A BIG THANK YOU to Kilkeel Hockey Club for their hospitality and a HUGE SHOUT OUT for all the coaches and parents who helped to make the day so successful.  Looking forward to the return in Newry on 19th June!
