Youth hockey update

The club has been very encouraged by the number of young boys and girls attending the junior hockey sessions on Saturday mornings. Youth hockey runs every Saturday morning 10-11am for boys and girls ages 5-15 years and on Thursday evenings for girls ages 11-14 years. Players of all abilities are very welcome.

The Youth sections of the club have their own separate coaching team and we are very pleased to have new coaches on board this season. The newly appointed Youth Development Officer is Colin Henning, who with the help of the other coaches, will aim to build and strengthen the youth of the club for years to come.

The aim is to participate in competitive local hockey leagues, tournaments, blitzes, as well as running an annual summer camp.

Due to Covid regulations, each child attending must bring their own hockey stick, shin pads, mouth guard and drink. Hockey Ireland actively discourages car pooling to and from training.

The following are the new fees for Junior / Youth hockey for the season: £50—1st Child, £30—2nd Child, £20—3rd Child, 4th Child onwards is free.
