The committee and members of Newry Olympic Hockey Club are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.
As a mark of respect, Ulster Hockey advised that all hockey in Ulster is postponed with immediate effect from Thursday 8th September until Monday 12th September 2022.
All competitive hockey will resume as scheduled on the weekend Friday 16th September to Sunday 18th September. No competitive hockey is to be scheduled for Monday 19th September.
The thoughts of Newry Olympic Hockey Club go to the members of the Royal Family and all of those touched by this remarkable monarch.
