NOHC take on Mourne Seven Sevens Challenge for Hospice
Four intrepid members of our Mens 1s take on the Mourne Seven Sevens Challenge in aid of Hospice Services
On Saturday 29th July 2023 Newry Olympic Hockey Club members Andrew Baird, Gareth Moffett, Corey Large and Josh Porter will be taking on the Mourne Seven Sevens challenge to raise money for Southern Area Hospice Services.
The Seven Sevens challenge involves climbing all seven peaks in the Mourne Mountains that are 700m or more above sea level. Covering a distance of 18 miles and 2500m of vertical ascent in the one day.
Southern Area Hospice Services provides invaluable support and care to people living within the Southern Health Board Area, who require specialist palliative and end of life care.
