Laverne's queen of the Castle with FIVE in big home win
On Saturday 13th January Olympic Ladies 2nds played Castle 4ths at the Belfast Road.
The home side proved to be the stronger from the start, with captain Laverne Inns getting a nap hand, scoring 5 goals in a row in the first half!
Laverne was the first to acknowledge the huge part midfielder Rhianna Hale played in her achievement, with some really well placed passes to the Newry centre forward.
It was the turn of right wing Sarah McNeilly to star in the second half, when she added another two goals which meant the Newry 2s finished with a seven nil scoreline and their biggest win of their season to date!
